Why was it infamous? Because I was proud of my bringing it back from being painted over?
BTW I paid $400 for that machine and it worked great just needed a bit of cleaning and new rubbers to get it working.
Most tend to check several sites for info , stories, pins. i am currenlty watching a few detail restores on another site and i love the detail some that post here on bringing a machine back to splendour. i would have to think that most "logs" of any pinball repairs/restorations are kept to a site or two where one has a certain familiarity with the regulars that post there. I cant remember ever seeing one restoration of a machine cross posted to more sites than that spin out did on Maaca/facefook/pinside/here. Add to the fact that updates were given every two feet of the process , you can see how that machine became a high profile heavily social networked machine. when mentioning that i had seen 3 for aroud 500 that wasnt one of them , however.. with your effort, elbow grease and exuberance was duly noted. I wasnt being critical of your machine and can understand your pride.
