I may have questioned one time or another on the pricing of things but it is still the sellers right to ask what they want. If the game is priced too high by public opinion it won't sell and no one will buy. If the seller is fine with that then so be it. I have never had any issue selling my games.
The issue I have is honesty about the condition of the games...
There is a game on kijiji right now which used to be mine. I sold, delivered, set it up for the buyer for $3,000 earlier this year (Actually $2,300 and an old Gottlied SS) . It had playfield wear which was touched up and mylared, also had a line or two out on the DMD which also warped a small part of the plastic speaker panel. This was stated in my ad and was the reason for my asking price (http://pinballrevolution.com/threads/no-fear-3-000-sold.6801/). It is now for sale for $3,700. I don't care that it is being sold at a higher price as that is the sellers choice (I got what I wanted for it). My issue is that there was no disclosure of the condition of the game other than the faded cabinet in the Ad. I would hate for someone out of town to have this game shipped to them and not be told the true condition of the game.
This is not about flipping as I have had games for less time and have sold or traded them. I have limited space and get bored of games fairly quickly and want to try new ones. I do not think this is flipping as my definition of flipping is buying a game with the sole purpose of reselling right away to make money. It is about honestly.
It does irk me that the seller had the nerve to try to "Trade" it back to me at a higher perceived value for my Avatar that I posted and have since sold.
Either the speaker panel, DMD, and playfield were swapped or it is just not being disclosed in the Ad.

Who’s the seller? Is he on this forum? I also noticed it was $4200 yesterday and then $3900 earlier today.

Sadly yes they are on the forum but the Ad is only on Kijiji. Luch is the seller.
Is this the same seller at $3700? Just checked your old pics and compared to kijiji ad and looks like it is. I'm pretty sure I know who this person is and quite honestly doesn't surprise me at all.

Yes its is Luch. His initials are on the game in the picture on the Ad. He has since changed the price but not the description.
I also see the melted spot on the DMD plastic cover on the bottom right of the DMD.
Price I don't care about...just be honest about the condition. I would be so pissed if I had it shipped to me and found out afterwards.

I purposely point out defects. I went out and took close ups of the wear spots on my Volley for Fifty. I'll get much more joy with a happy buyer/new pinball friend then having an extra $100 in my pocket.

I purposely left a name out of my original post so he would have an opportunity to fix it but I guess a few hundred bucks is worth more than reputation.
May we be so fortunate to always stay where a pin is a source of wonderment and fun and not a way to beat people out of cash.
And I'm sure not putting that on those hard working souls who run pinball establishments.....wish I had the cajones.

I don't think luch cares about reputation and has been called out in the past on other platforms such as Facebook for his flips. There are certain people in this small community I won't vouch or deal with in this community and luch is one of them.

I am not concerned about him flipping the game. I got what I wanted so he can do whatever he wants. It was like 8 months ago so whatever. It is the dishonestly about the condition that pisses me off. Trying to pass it as in better condition than it is and when he is called out for it still does nothing about it.

Not really dealt with Atariaction before so don't have a whole lot to say about that. I have seen some questionable things and thats about as far as I will go with that.
Price stuff what you like...just be honest about what you are selling.
Why do you think the No Fear is on Kijiji only? Cause he is looking for a sucker. Probably did not think it would be noticed.
Sell it for a million dollars, I don't care. Just be honest about the game and stop trying to rip people off.

Then apparently got caught or called out because he was supposed to honor a buy back to the guy he bought it from for I think it was $600? Then he went and edited his ad along with his posts in the thread with "..." to cover up his tracks. Luckily I was able to restore most of the messages and his kijiji ad was still up so I re-uploaded all the same pictures. I also told him if he continues to do this I will delete any future ads the second he posts them up. If a machine is sold please mark it as sold so I can lock it up and leave all posts as is if possible. I think he has learned to stick to kijiji to avoid the chatter which is also why when I post up pins in here I purposely avoid linking his ads in this thread.

I may have not bought from him. But he certainly pointed me to the correct person to see for my last pin.

This whole back and forth is not about what you are willing to pay, but being honest in what you are presenting.
If my TA was mint I'd be asking more then a Kijiji $1000 for it, but it isn't, and I listed it as so. Plays great but is "Players condition"
Then I tell them the specific issues if they send me anything....
