Sorry fellas, I'm running around in the background with a lot of projects here (just setup a new workshop in my garage), but as it's a new month guy guys all deserve another update.
Last I heard from Joey was ~2 weeks ago saying late Aug/early Sept. I've tried contacting him again with no reply, so I'll send another email and phone him this weekend as well. I'm totally losing my mind on this, but all of Pinside is having the same issue. I did have a long convo with Joey a few weeks ago about the true nature of the backlog. The original manufacturer in Germany produced an entire cargo load of crap and wouldn't own up to the mistake, leaving Roman (the patent holder of the glass) with no alternative but to find a new manufacturer. This led to a huge trial and error process until finally finding a manufacturer that can actually produce what we're all used to seeing. He'd finally found the right place in the Spring, and so began the process of filling worldwide back-orders (and pinball is a very small part of his glass orders).
So the problem with our order through Joey is, he keeps getting short shipped -- normally receiving 200 sheets per order, he's only getting ~50 at a time. I've reminded him time and time again that we have an order of 14 sheets placed, but he assures me he's moving through the back orders as fast as possible.
I totally understand the frustration, and I hate to keep coming back here with more and more delays. If anyone wants a refund I'm more than willing to process it.
