Pinball for Change - Pinball Palooza

Mike, aka Luch has very graciously offered to host the next (and biggest ever) Pinball for Change event.

On Saturday March 5th 2016 he will open his doors in Newmarket at 4 pm, and a Head-to-Head Match Play tournament will begin at 5 pm sharp. We will play as many rounds as we can, but will not start another after 9:30 pm. Top 8 will play a playoff round for final position (5-8) and the cash prizes (1-4).

Tournament cost is $25, which includes a $15 donation to my family's Free the Children fundraising effort, and $10 into the prize pool for the top 4 players.

We will also be drawing for our raffle, which currently includes a set of Stella Artois glasses, KISS translite, Liquor dispenser, Leafs jersey (official), Sidney Crosby Penguins Jersey (official), Free the Children Gift Basket (some very nice stuff in it!) and a $50 gas gift card. Also welcoming additional raffle prize donations!

Doors will be open from 4pm on , so come early and practise . Hot food will be served at 4:50pm , snacks ,pop , water and beer will be available . All food , snacks and beverages will be on me , free of charge . Again thanks to Walt for working hard on this event . First off, big thanks to Mike Luciani for opening his home and collection to us. I know I had a great time, and I hope all participants did as well.

Also many thanks to Mike Capocci who provided the pizza for the event.

Congratulations to Tournament champ Sean O'Neill, and I must thank him as well for adding half his winnings to our donation. All standings will be sent in to the IFPA later today.

Our event yesterday raised a grand total of $1560. Thanks to you all for participating and helping us move closer to our $5000 goal than I ever could have imagined. My goal was 2 years, and I'm sure we'll make it in less than a year. Donation will be sent to Free the Children shortly, and can be seen on the About page of www.portunionpinball.com by following the link.
