Hey all
A Friend of mine (Albert) recently took up podcasting. He is already up to 180 episodes. Pretty sure I have listened to them all. They are usually short and sweet.

If you want to give his pinball podcast a try check out this link:

He also very recently just took up pinball streaming. Check out his latest twitch stream at link below. Albert, Tony, Rob and I duke it out on Roller Coaster Tycoon.

"Pinball nerds" popped by my place on Saturday and we did possibly the 1st ever live stream of Gottlieb's 1947 Humpty Dumpty (1st game with electro mechanincal flippers) and then followed it up with some Data East Star Wars since it was May 4th! Check out the action here:

If the link is not working just go to twitch dot com and search for pinballnerdspodcast.

Here is my question:
With all the hyped up #metoo BS out there and inflated discrimination, why does there have to a "Women's Division" in pinball tourneys? I mean, I can understand if it were arm wrestling (though, I know some women that could kick my ass in that), but why pinball? Having the separate divisions based on gender only serves to perpetuate these societal problems. Maybe they should just be divided into age categories....unless there starts to be a transgender division as well? Just saying.

Definitely a longstanding debate. What I do know is that women's pinball leagues and separate women's divisions are growing in numbers and popularity. New York City Pinball Championships just happened recently and they too just added a women's division and guess what....LOPL's own Julie Dorssers took it down!!! $600USD and a cool trophy!

Jeff Teolis of pinball profile interviewed several of the players while he was there including Julie. That podcast is posted here...

Here is the livestream replay of the womens finals as well:

LOPL's own Jeff Teolis has a very successful pinball podcast called Pinball Profile and recently he interviewed LOPL's own Albert Agar of Pinball Nerds Podcast. Turned out to be a great podcast. Check out the interview here:

Well we come full circle again. Albert has now interviewed Jeff for Albert's 200th episode!
