I met a great Ozzie geezer called Norbert at Expo, and it turns out he's the founder of the Australian Pinball League. He's also started Australia's biggest pinball club, and he gave me a few insights into what it takes to get pinballs working on location there, why you shouldn't make them too cheap, and why new Sterns are key to success.
