Pinball what a hobby I'm loving it

I'm a retired veteran and I have an obsession with everyone elses obsession. LOL if you have a hobby I'll adopt it and dive in feet first. It's only been about 6 months since I bought my first pin. Met and talked to some amazing people in this hobby, I have only found helpful people.
So now 5 pins later,
lots of parts and tools
1 bambu A1 printer

I've made mods and pin covers. Pictures of my handy work included.
I'd really like to find a project now.
Seems like everyone is as well but any suggestions on the best way to find one?
Would I have better luck in the US?

Yeah I've done the normal routes so far, posted on kijiji and market place. I volunteer a lot with veterans but I've never met another vet yet that has pins. NOT yet anyway. I'm creating a veterans pinball day of learning to fix, create 3d mods and a small tournament. So hopefully it will peak someones interest to buy a pin or pick up 3d printing.

Awesome I'll have to register for that thread. Funny I never met anyone that played or had a pin in 25yrs. lol. I see @Brucemonkhouse is on there as well. I was hoping I could use the ETB to fund something pinball related but haven't found anything yet.

After a few months of research. I realized at my age and amount of time I can commit to learning something new I wanted a simple out of the box plug and play.
Any babu is the way to go. I went with the A1 with AMS. multi color printing ability.
The a1 mini is an ok less expensive option but small. But good enough for anything pin related you want to print.
Anything above the A1 is quicker and can print materials that I would even use.
So the compramise was the A1. So far, super satisfied.
Then for fun just go onto to tinker can and start playing aroun. Import other projects and manipulate them as well. Lots of helpful videos out there. My favorite mods so far are the scoop for ultraman out of TPU a rubbery material.
A background scene for the empty area at the back of UM.
Obolisqe, sarcofacus and an Anubis
For all of my pins a shooter lane protector.
And a few other things.
I've only had this printer for less than 1 month. So it is doable.

I have 2 resin printers but have never tried filament printing. Resin gives way more detailed prints but it sure is messy. Oh and toxic lol. I find resin prints too brittle for use in pinball though.

Oh and I belong in this thread since I am soon to be a veteran as well. Currently sitting at 35 years in. 30 Reg Force and 5 in the Reserves.

You closest to 1, 4 or 5 CMBG geography?

I know at least 1 pinballer in 4 CMBG.

I haven’t met any pinballers in the forces(Pet, Gage, Valcartier, Winnipeg, and Ottawa). I did buy my first game from a fellow 403 Sqn member in 99 but he wasn’t a pinhead. It was just a curiosity for him. And not working of course (wms sys 3).

I keep trying to find a way to bring a game or 2 and expose my fellow co-workers. Fund raising campaign or something. It’s hard being at NDHQ(Carling). Would be easier as part of a unit/sqn.

I have done some great things with soldier on. So I try to pay back. That's why I'm working on a small tournament day. With some learning aspects. Like 3d printing or basic repair. A lot of us just need a new hobby or job. So maybe peak Some interest that way. I run a fb page for the etb so there is funding for people to go back to school or even small hobby courses. Like cad,3d printing, electronics all associated with pins.
