Playboy (Bally) restored $7000

Restoration i did a while ago (documented on pinside).
A lot of time went into this, parts, buffing, sanding, painting, etc…

here’s a summary.

Game was;
Primed.
painted.
clear coated.

Brand new cabinet
saved the backbox.

New boards from Alltek;
Solenoid driver board.
Led/lamp driver board.
Power supply/voltage rectifier board.

New CPR playfield.
New plastic set.
many new parts on the PF. flipper bats, lane guide, brackets, etc…

New bumper caps
Pop bumpers completely rebuilt.

New drop targets.
New stand up targets.

New door frame.
New door skin.
Door completely rebuilt.

Legs painted black.
New Leg levelers
Leg brackets inside the cab.
Front chrome bolts.

New speaker.

New chrome shooter housing.
new shooter rod.
shooter housing light up.
Flipper buttons light up.

Fully leds white/pink
new locks.

and so many things i will forget!, lol, like brackets, hardware, etc…

Including;
Pinball dust cover cabinet/backbox.
Extra plastic set, missing one piece.
Pink pinball.

*** What i didn’t change;

Side rails, my goal was to have many parts chromed like the door, new side rails, lockdown bar
but just moved to something else.

Backglass, i did get one from CPR, didn’t like it, was returned and refunded.
The details look better on the original even if it's not perfect.

Very very low play.
Look like new, nice piece for a collection.

Thanks everyone, Bob.

Looks very nice, lots of time and effort and cost to restore. Good luck with sale. Wondering where did you get the cover, I would like to find something similar for my modern Stern game.

I saw this pin when I picked up a backglass from @Beatmaster and was absolutely blown away. However nice these pictures are, it’s 10x better in person. Truly impressive work, and a great guy to deal with to boot!
