Selling Genesis. Had my fun, need to make room.
This example is in really great shape. Here's a short list of what's been done to it.
-Full clean-up and top shop of playfield
-New rubbers and posts
-4 pop bumpers taken apart and new metal rings installed to replace broken and worn originals. Pops also have colour-changing LEDs
-I found replacements for a few missing or broken plastics (one sling still has a small chip at the top, but hard to see after installing protective rings)
-Replaced legs with correctly sized new set
-Added metal leg protector plates from Pinball Life
-Made some minor repairs to AUX controlled lamp PCB
-Covered most of the purple/pink accents on the cabinet with adhesive vinyl (reversible)
-Replaced the damaged T-molding on the head with new chrome trim
-Blue GI and most controlled 44/47 bulbs are converted to LED
-Clear repro ramps added
-Cliffy's ramp protectors added
-New decals purchased (ramps, drop target shield, etc...)
-Mismatched drop targets replaced with all new
-I also replaced the plastic robot with my own 3D printed model based on the 'Maria" robot from the film Metropolis (which was the inspiration for this game). Original robot is included and in perfect shape.
-Ground mods performed
-New repro manual included
This Genesis is one of a kind!
The game plays great and the playfield and cabinet are in super shape. Only minor nicks and I've touched up where possible.
Faded translites are very common on this title, but mine is bright and colourful.
Excellent gameplay with lots of risk/reward between going for body part letters or trying to keep them in balance while shooting the more dangerous drop targets for accelerated completion of the robot. Great music and theme too!
Looking for $2400
No trades please... unless you have a Godzilla you don't want
I also have a spare set of repro clear ramps from Freeplay40. I had purchased these prior to finding the machine since supplies were low. They are an additional $260 if the buyer is interested.
Thank you
