There is NO WAY that JD market is 3-3.5K. Stiffler has is right, mid 2Kish. You get to the 3K mark and you're into Shadow territory which is a WAY better game.

Yeah, I always thought the game was in the mid 2's, but its been a few years since I checked. I'm sure a High End Pins example would fetch more of course, but its a labour of love at that point.

3 - 3.5 k

I'll gladly sell you mine in the $3-3.5k range and you can pay in any denomination as you wish as long as the money is not counterfeit.

In all seriousness, I think stiffler4444's price range is closer to the local market value. I know two exchanged hands in between this range last year with topper too. Then again what do I know because lots of people are pricing in USD or using pinside as the gauge to see whats "trending" these days.

The example I'm looking at is apparently quite nice with the heavier "cast" repro topper included. The playfield is perfect, but no report on the cabinet yet. I'm pretty sure its in great shape cabinet wise though.

Check the right ramp ball exit just above the inlane to see if it is crack, chipped or broken there.

If broken and depending where it is broken Cliffy sells a ramp patch kit for it

I would also check and listen to see how the Deadworld motor is running because if there is problem that is another $200usd + shipping both ways to Steve Young to get rebuilt I heard. The left pursuit flasher can sometimes be chipped or cracked from being hit with an air ball and I guess you are waiting for pics of the cab for fade. It's a great game in the mid $2k range and still good bang for buck pin.

if it's 2,800 and I'm at 3000 , that's 200 buck if it's nice it's 200 more . no I do not own one

LOL... that made zero sense dude :D

Is $2,800 club price ?

I think it's the "I'm not gonna rape you for the Pinside US pricing" price.

Bottom line is this. Will someone out there be willing to pay $3K+ for a nice one? Sure they will.
Is that what they usually sell for? Certainly not.

I would expect a $2800 JD to be pretty friggin' nice. The term "mint" is subjective, so take that as you will. I wouldn't expect the condition of a $2800 or a 3K example to be any different, it's a minimal difference in cost. Now if you think a very nice JD is $2800 and a HUO JD is $3k, you're dreaming...
