Wow that Fan inside Aerosmith does get a bit loud.

Where do I find the quiet plug and play replacement?
Sayal? Or am I stuck with mail order?

Also looking for a shaker motor to add to the experience.

Tks for that link, I think I will change my GOT fan too. Those fans, aren't they just smaller versions of fans you find in a computer? However I'm glad someone on Pinside tested a new replacement - getting a quieter fan, amongst the gazillion different types out there, could be daunting!

Pinmonk's (Vireland on Pinside) quiet fan kit is great and simple to install. Highly recommend.

Looks like a smart buy for any of the parts dealers or pin flippers, service techs.

He only charges about $8usd to ship his mods. Ive bought some of his lenses as well. He is very reasonable. Just contact him. He also has no problem just telling you how.to make your own kit. He is simply putting the necessary parts together for you. Doing the leg work so to speak.

I would have ordered for both of us if we lived closer a bit, would have dropped it at your place. However I'm in Gatineau, so I guess I'll just order the fan I need.

I like the idea of someone doing the leg work if I get exactly what is needed! I've ordered stuff in the past that needed some adjustments - more work than anything else and not worth it. GOT needs to run quieter, I can hear the fan during game play.

I put some feelers out to see if the star wars homepin has a similar issue.
So far the list is not updated to heavy metal at yes or no (probably until after release).
I don't mind waiting a month or two for the list to get updated.

Yeah, Aerosmith is on the list, 500watts model. I didn't check others..
