I am looking for 2 remote battery holders. They have them at Pinball Life but the shipping is almost as much as the holders. Any additional sites that people can offer?

I've been using digikey lately and I've been extremely impressed with how quick they deliver. I just got a package in last week the day after I ordered. Same experience another time I ordered a few months ago.

Anyways I know they have battery holders because I got a couple. $8 shipping though so order all your little electronic components and stuff at once and then it's worth it.

Yup, most electronics suppliers will have x3AA holders. I bought a bunch from A1 electronics here in Toronto. They also ship.

Scroll down for model #3626. They come complete with wiring for $1.32

I also like to get a bunch of these RC connectors. $6 shipping included for 30 sets with male/female ends! Can't do much better than that.

I love to use these for connecting battery holders as it makes it super easy to disconnect it from the board if you need to work on it. Just solder to the battery holder wiring and cover with some heat shrink tubing and you're all set.
They're also great for mods. I wired up my Tron lightcycles with these and I can easily take them off for service without pulling all the wiring out.

Thanks, I just ordered those. I'm always looking for connectors like that and salvaging from other projects but those will be perfect for a number of different things.
