I don't like the look of that at all, it might play well I guess but I didn't like AMH either.

Pretty polarizing responses. Most here in Canada are critical of Spooky's work (this thread is a good example)...while US collectors are falling over themselves trying to get an AHM or get on the list for Rob Zombie. Not saying one position is right and the other is wrong, just wondering why this trend exists?

I actually liked the look of AMH as a game, but never got to play one (and now probably never will). This one just doesn't interest me as a theme-I'm kind of indifferent to Rob Zombie's music, and have no interest in the movies. The PF also looks really...blank? That whole middle area is just begging to be something cool, and instead you have a gray tombstone and green background? The sides look really good though, so why not use more of that art where players are going to be looking at it?

I was a little surprised to see how often the game is in some sort of multi-ball mode... Other than that I'll reserve judgement until I play one.

I could land an airplane in the middle of the playfield.

Some of the long shots look very cool and super fun when you nail them right.

The upper PF is really lacking for me. I could see avoiding that area intentionally during gameplay. I like the art package a lot with the exception of art in the middle.

The robot vibrating bothers me. To me it should make obvious moments or just stay still. Shaking it just makes me think it's not working properly.

It looks fun despite my little gripes. I would still love to play a RZ or an AMH.

Things just seem to be a lot...tighter on other machines. More pulled together. More cohesive. It looks like someone just dumped a half-empty parts box onto the playfield. Maybe this is indicative of the affordable price point? Who knows, it may shoot well, but it looks anemic compared to its Stern/JJP/WMS/DE/Sega brethren.
