I could not get one from P1 or Nitro as usual. So I placed orders with multiple people in the US and ended up with extra. I wish I paid list price but that is not the current market reality. I have a Rush LE in my personal collection it is amazing. If you are interested and want to try the LE come over and play mine before you do the trade.

My experience as well. Now if some industrious and nice collector had a good relationship with a number of US distributors, I would be happy to pay a 1k or 1.5k premium and give them my LE business instead of Jerry who just wants to sell me his dregs....

1K or 1.5K for there help is worth it i think, if your trying to get a pin you want. Paying way over the original price to me isn't worth it.

Paying a distributor over MSRP is a crime in my opinion. We need more distributors.
This is the pinball market now and probably for a while so best all of us get use to it.

Lets take the example of $1500 over msrp. $11099 msrp + $1500 over to dealer or friend in US = $ 12599 USD and its still sitting in the US. So lets add $500 usd for shipping $13099 USD. Go to the bank and get a wire. $13099 x 1.2852 (rbc today which is lower than a few weeks ago) = $ 16835 CAD x 1.13 HST (ont) = $19023.55 + $40 for the bank wire fee + $100 for brokerage = $ 19163.55 CAD. I think my shipping is very conservative. Again this is if someone will sell you an LE for $1500 USD over which is not my experience. For every $500 USD more you pay for that pin equals an increase of $ 725 CAD including tax.

When you put it in that perspective it now makes sense. The LE looks awesome in my opinion. GLWS

I totally forgot the LE's jumped up in price in the new year. Here I was thinking Rush LE's had a MSRP around $9200-ish US.

I had been lucky to secure one for myself and one for a backup as the pre orders always make me nervous if they are arriving etc .

Both showed and offered the second one to a friend then he already got his own by that time so I sold it to a fellow collector. It wasn’t hard at all and same price as I paid 1500 over msrp to get it .

US distributers aren't allowed to ship to Canada. I'm guessing it was a shady as hell distributer though, since they also charged over MSRP, another thing I'm pretty sure they're not allowed to do since the vast majority of them don't do it.

As for the asking price? It's how it goes.. Stuff is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
