I bought a Kiss Pro last week and purchased a shaker for it as well. It's a Stern shaker for the Spike system. The shaker came with a capacitor kit to plug into the power cable going into the node board. I installed it but when I went to power up the pin, it caused all sorts of problems. I removed the capacitor kit and pulled the shaker connector and the machine went back to normal. I didn't want to plug in the shaker without the capacitor kit for fear of blowing the board.
Any ideas? Should I just plug in the shaker and leave the capacitor kit out? I read the Stern service bulletins but I'm beginning to think that with the Kiss pin, the Stern shaker is plug and play without the capacitor kit.
Thanks
Maurizio
