In the Pinball Machine for sale forum, UXMEM Prem thread, there is talk of a 3d file for Shooter Lane Protectors. If anyone is feeling industrious, I would want 4 of them.

Anyone else to make it worth someone's while?

They did look like a nice alternative to the lane Mylar, I posted in the suggestion area on the 3d printing suggestion to see if they could reproduce them for us.

i would be in for a few myself (not at 30usd plus shipping etc)

Thanks for this post. I am sick of paying US prices with my Canadian dollar and then getting hit with customs charges.

Now, if a 3d printer was set-up at Antisocial and they were sold for $7.50 or something...that is just one more reason to get out there!!!!
There actually is an entire back room that I was going to set up a portion of as a 3D print room, but the room is filled with stuff from the previous tenant, (who I know). I was trying to be nice and give him back his stuff, but he is dragging his feet and I'm sick of waiting.

Anyone have a pic? I bought some of the ones one Pinside. They don't work very well. Cause issues with the shooter lane, balls get hung up.

I remember you telling me and Kool1 about that.

It would be cool if you were to set up the printer there. Maybe in time provide basic maintenance materials such as wax, plastic cleaner and balls. Since you will require them for your maintenance might as well buy in bulk, give pinball owners more reasons to come and offset your maintainance costs at the same time.

With your LEs and Prems, I'd be doing an annual change of pinballs, may be overkill, but I do it in my home environment. So, what do you have now?? 80 machines? X 6 balls per year = 480 balls. Something to think about...

I would like to be added to the list of “yes please”. Figure I have 4 machines so 6 would be ideal if one or two should have a failure.

unrelated and not that I would want to be an importer but I do spend plenty of time at my place in the USA… parcels would be opened prior to transit but im pretty sure I could help the community out.
