I know may of us have other hobbies other than pinball (there are other hobbies, who knew!?), one of is remote control cars and airplanes. I've just gotten back in to flying after a very brief stint in the hobby about 12 years ago, and I've been taking onboard video of a lot of my flying so far. It's not anything too special, I'm still developing my video and editing skills and playing around with camera mounts and placements. I just finally got my quadcopter today as well, which should be interesting.

And next step is to build my own airplane, something that has ailerons and isn't as susceptible to being blown around by the wind since calm, wind free days seem to be few and far between around here.

Very cool! The next time your in the Mississauga/Toronto area bring a plane. We'll go out flying. :)

As some of you know, I work at Hobby Hobby in Mississauga. (I believe we are easily in the top 10 most successful hobby stores in North America)
I raced cars for many years. Mostly 1/10 scale onroad and offroad. However, since I've been working there, my interest in RC cars has sort of dwindled. (spending 45 to 50 hours a week around it, it's the last thing I want to do in my free time) Coincidentally, the time I started working there was around the same time I got into pinball). :)

I do however, still fly RC planes. I've got a bunch, although my current favorite is my eflite Inverza.

Here is a vid I took with a camera on the front of my T-28 Trojan:

(I make a very brief appearance at 2:58. :D)
Funny story... the guy in white beside me literally dove out of the way just after I pulled up. He thought I was going to hit us.

Eventually I'll get around to buying some FPV (first person view) gear and a pair of 3D goggles.

FPV flying is my ultimate goal. I actually tried to go flying again today and the wind just won't give me a break. I nearly actually clipped myself today trying to practice low and slow passes. The camera wasn't on for that flight for some reason though.

I'm going to be building some of the Flite Test swappable series planes next. :)

And I was racing on road carpet up until my local track closed for the rest of the summer. *bleh*

Yep, I raced at Lou's. If I go back to work in Sept (hopefuly), I won't have any time to race any more, so I will likely sell all my gear. I was running VTA and USGT classes.

A good customer of mine practically gave me this little number tonight:

I say 'practically gave me' because I didn't feel right taking it for free. He said he'd be happy with $40. Heck, the Thunder Power LiPo he threw in is worth $23 before tax. I forget who he said the manufacturer is. I'll find that out.

There's quite a bit of detail in it. It even comes with a display stand. Sweet!

Can I just say I'm jealous? The Mustang is my favourite warbird, and it is a plane I will eventually own. Although I'd be happy to take that one off your hands. ;)

I'm not a huge warbird fan, but I do like the Mustang.
I had the Parkzone Mustang last summer. (got that one for a crazy good price too, but from a different good customer. I seem to have good luck that way) It was a lot of fun to fly. It was considerably larger than the one I acquired tonight. (40" span vs. 24") I sold it to some guy looking for his first non-beginner plane. I regret selling that one.

Maybe I'll fly this one a couple of times, and convince myself to let it go to a good home. ;)

I had an older PZ Mustang with the brushed motor setup, but I sold it a few years ago having never flown it. I wish I had held on to it now, it would make a good step up from the SuperCub. I'm already itching for something more capable, scratchbuilding with foam board is totally in my future, I already have a bunch of plans downloaded.
