Ghostbuster Ernie Hudson Jr reprised his classic role as Winston Zeddemore to record all new custom audio for our #Ghostbusters#Pinballmachine which was announced today. Here is a photo of him in the recording booth we took during the process! Cool!

Using the reboot probably would've been a big marketing mistake and poor business decision on Stern's part.
What's amazing is that the studios would have allowed the old license to be used rather than flog the new film.

If the new film is a dud (and it looks like it might be) people who enjoy the old films will be drawn to the old films even more.
After watching the trailer for the new movie I got sad and watched the first two films over the weekend to try and forget the trailer.
Look what they did with Star Wars. When they released the new film all the marketing product was aimed at the old movies. Yoda yogurt, Darth cookies, Boba Fett apples. I saw almost no new characters on products. They marketed to your sentimental side which is an interesting tactic. I think this is what Stern is doing.
