For me... A regular guy that in no way can justify spending 5-10k for a machine. I don't get all this BS.

Keep in mind you are relatively new to the hobby.
Give it a few years; I'm sure most of us felt the same way as you do now at some point in time. :shock:

I'm impressed with the Metallica LE situation because of how much competition there is now in pinball.... WOZ's are shipping (apparently) soon, deposits on Hobbits are being taken, Avengers wasn't that long ago, Nemo is shipping soon, Full Throttle is shipping this summer, lots of other projects, like jpops and predator, etc, are taking orders, deposits, tying up buyers, yet there are still enough buyers and dollars around to sell out 500 LEs sight unseen. Well, a photo, but thats it.

I don't think so... I think there is lots of new people still coming in, that hasn't peaked yet. There could be 10-20 years of positive growth yet as people who are now in their 30s get into homes and have some money.

Everything will crash though when the arcade generation goes, the ipad generation will not continue things.

Stern had some people worried earlier but this pic confirms there will not be any XM playfields in your Metallicas Earlier pic was showing single slot coin door which would mean designated for EU but here are some double slot so maybe they will be released by the time Allentown happens.

hmm....the ac/dc rule card at least hints about all the different things to shoot for with each song, plus the MBs... but I'm ok with them simplifying the card for the bar crowd.

assuming it is a simplified card and the game itself isn't for babies.

AC/DC's is fairly similar, basically 'Shoot Stuff'. And since we know Lyman is coding, the rules will be like Inception. Layer upon layer.

Very happy to see AJFA mentioned. Not in the song list, so I'm pretty sure the track list is not complete. I figured they would have to include more than 'One' from AJFA.
