I don't see many people buying this as a fun game to play. Maybe Stern thinks collectors may want this because they will probably produce so few of them. Certainly would not be on a list of games I would like to own.

I am confused about this pin. I want to love it but not sure I do. Likely a blast to play but would not want to fork out the cash to ever own one.

Honestly, I don't mind the idea of re-using an old playfield as a basis for a game, and trying to target something simpler isn't a terrible idea either. I wonder if the success of TNA helped with this at all? This game isn't for us though-it's for the Beatles collector who may or may not have a casual affinity for pinball. Anyone who's a serious pinhead will just go buy a Seawitch if they want a layout like that (or any of the other classic sterns), instead of spending probably $10k on a limited run "collectible".

What's more of a shame is if this is all they're doing with the Beatles license. What might be kind of cool is if given the relationship, they could do a second, more modern game with the license. I know Yellow Submarine or Sgt Pepper have both come up as possible themes for a Beatles game-maybe it could be like those compilation albums they did way back in the day that were the early/late Beatles stuff?

I have played Seawitch and find it to be a very good game, fairly quick with many shots to make. I also really like the arrangement leading up to the flippers on Stargazer which is also a similar game. As Chris pointed out this Beatles game does have some similarities to Seawitch, but the way that video presents the game it looks very slow and boring. I agree that just the Beatles theme might resonate with the crowd that collect Beatles , but are they willing to spend that kind of money for a game. I guess they might spend $10000 if they think the value of this pinball machine will increase in value as an investment.
