This was posted on pinside a few days ago and for those who love their T2 but need a new playfield now is your chance:

Hello to all

We are proud to announce that we have obtained the liecence from the filmstudios to repro Terminator 2 Judgment Day Playfields.
Now we are set up to start. We have received the original Silkscreen Films from PPS that Bally Williams used to print the playfields. We are now ready to take pre-orders. Milling will start in January 2017. Approx finishing Date is April / May

We also obtained the rights to repro the cabinet decals, we will announce them later on once we are ready.

1 T2 reproduction playfield Euro 765 Approx.
Shipping to the US and Canada Euro 95
Shipping to Australia Euro 105
Shipping inside the EC Euro 35
Shipping inside Germany Euro 18

Note: If the Playfield remains in the EC we have to charge 19% VAT / MwSt.

The milling will start in January 2017.

Holy hell that's one expensive PF... Over $1200 CDN without any duty/taxes.

What I don't understand is why go through the trouble to get the license for the PF and cab art and not run the plastics as well???? The original plastics are ALWAYS trashed.

Yep, same guy thats doing the Getaway playfield. He does excellent work from what ive heard but i figure were in for about $1400.00 all said and done. Just too much IMO.

That's the price the playfields have always been. It's not like he is raising the priced the same way Stern is every other game.

It's just the CAD sucks more.

Doesn't change the end of the price but still.

I remember paying that same price when i bought my TZ and Wh20 PF. Just the conversion was better

Repro playfields have always been between $600-$800 USD and even more for especially rare or limited production ones such as TAF, Fathom, CC and so on. This is what I'm used to paying for CPR or Mirco.

If I'm buying from an artist like Ron Kruzman, it's well over $1K USD
