SOUNDS like a cool theme but I don't understand people putting their name down for an LE before even seeing the machine...
I do love my SW Premium though...

I'll be really curious to see what it looks like.
Brian Eddy is the designer?

I absolutely loath Stern teaser trailers. I want to see pics of the actual game.

Brian Eddy has an amazing track record. All hits, no misses: Shadow, AFM, MM and Stranger Things. Hopeful this is a great game.

More Star Wars, ugh. I must be getting old, never heard of The Mandalorian. Sounds like a matador that drives a DeLorean.
I feel you. I did watch the Mandalorian series and really enjoyed it, but there is just so much Star Wars crap on this planet already.

I have to admit I was really looking forward to a James Bond theme machine...
Modern technology with a classic theme like that.
Maybe someday...

Gotta be the investment side, more than wanting to play the actual machine. You see quite a few machines put up for sale with 40-70 plays. Not my thing for sure, I play my machines! Been 5 weeks or so since I picked up Twilight Zone and Deadpool Prem, and I've easily put 50 plays on both of them.

50 plays in 5 weeks???? That's not even 2 plays/day! Don't lie to us you don't play your machines! ;)

I've had Stranger Things for about 7 weeks. 547 plays. Yes there are 2 of us in the house but still. We play our games every single day. JP and MMr get just as much play as well. Woz and STTNG a bit less.

We put 60-80 plays/week on almost all our machines.

That was just a guess, I'd have to look tbh. But seriously, people that have 50 plays on a machine they've owned for 4-5 years? 60-80 plays a week, I don't play them that much, right now I just don't have time with work.

Edit: Checked DP, bought it with 414 plays, it has 575 plays on it now. Guess I seriously underestimated. TZ, I never looked at how many plays but I've played it more since bringing it home.

All good. I was just pulling your leg. We do play a lot. :)

Also folks using low "games played" numbers as a selling point is crazy. I ignore that completely. It gets reset with code upgrades and battery changes, not counting the fact that anyone can reset that number any time they want. Imagine if folks could reset the odometer on a car with only the press of a button.. Do you really think they wouldn't in order to get more money for their used car? Would you take their word for it that it was never ever reset?

I know the WMS/Bally stuff can be reset anytime. But do the Stern's reset with code updates and can you reset it at will too? I too ignore the number of plays on a machine if I'm looking to buy. I care about the condition of the machine, just like when I buy a car.

I'm planning to add a JP Premium to the collection as soon as Player One has them in stock. Looking like a good time to buy too, with the Canadian dollar the way it is right now.

Finally, some enthusiasm! it's a new pinball! :)

I don't get enthusiastic about a pinball machine until I see it, and if I can't see it in person - which down this way is unlikely I will - I'll wait at least 3-4 months of people playing it elsewhere to get a really good feel for how good it is before even thinking about spending money on it.

Oh, and how about the "Documented Home Use Only" one? vs. Undocumented Home Use Only? WTF? LOL.

How can someone have a documented home use only machine? Do you need to have a 24/7 video of the machine sitting in your gamesroom?

condition is king .

Oh for sure, it's just an amusing thing people put on their ads once in a while that makes no sense. Someone could buy a machine for "home" and put it in a bar for a few months and have that receipt that makes it look like a "documented" HOU machine. Another one of those things to ignore.
