Picked up my first pin in over ten years... The Silverball Mania on kijiji. In desperate need of a new playfield but other than that not too bad... On the look out for one and hope to do a nice restore on it... After I finish my virtual pinball project that has been on going for over 5 months now.

Thanks for the heads up... I had found the playfield over at PPS but $135 USD shipping and pretty much guaranteed duty on it I thought I'd check around in Canada first and then try and see if I could find a private seller who would at least not charge that high of a shipping fee, or I could potentially meet at Allentown to pick up... the irony of paying more in gas to get to Allentown isn't lost on me :) I will likely end up at PPS in the end.

Speaking of Allentown, looks like I've set up a few deals at the show.
I should have more to post here very soon :D

I haven't been very active because I've been running around and really busy, but here's the new additions.

1970 Williams Hit and Run
1977 Sonic Mars Trek
1972 Bally Time Zone
Two giant neon Espresso signs.

All three machines are in pretty good shape. They pretty much need a good clean, rubber, etc. Time Zone has a small amount of paint wear, but not enough that I'm going to worry about right now.

I got a really good deal on them. I'm hanging one on the wall. The other I'm considering putting glass on it and using it as a counter or table. I might just sell it though. I'm not sure.

They both need a little work. They are brand new signs but some of the clips that hold the tubes have broken - that's why the letters are a bit skewed. Easy fix, but it's a pain in the butt to pull the wire rack the neon is attached to now that the neon isn't attached.

Once I fix one, I can probably sell it for more then I bought both.

I set up one some more of my Allentown booty from last weekend.
I'd only played one other example of Wipeout. It was at the PHOF and half the mechs were busted... and it was STILL fun!
I couldn't resist picking up this sweet example, even if only for a few weeks.

I addressed a few small issues and have been playing it all week long!
The dots are pretty uninspired and the callouts, although funny, can get old fast... but it's a surprisingly fun game with a ton to shoot for and some neat toys.

I haven't seen too many Wipeouts but, after looking under the hood on this game,I have to think this is one of the nicest examples out there. I could eat off this machine... it's that clean!
