Congrats on the game Brad! I am glad TSPP arrived in good condition.
I can't believe pins are sometimes shipped still with the legs on these days.

(Grauwulf) James, You da man!

Started a teardown and cleanup of my dads South Park. Basic layout, so it didn't seem daunting, but some of the plastics are multi-level with a ton of pieces going into one small area. Damn my man-hands.

Drilled my hand this morning while working on shooter rods :(
I didn't know that's how you make the 'thing' shooter rods for the Adams family machine.

Interesting technique.

I finally finished painting and setting up the family room over the last week.
Why is this importnant you ask?

Couches stored in my gameroom are now gone; freeing up two more spots for games :D
Tons of stuff for the room was also being stored in the garage, so the workshop is starting to take shape as well.

Finally, we are having a massive yard sale this weekend, so I hope to finally be rid of most of our clutter. We moved almost a year ago... it's been a long time in coming.

Looking forward to focusing on pinball again for the remainder of the Summer!

Come shop at the Drano yard sale.
Have the kiddies play pinball for a dollar while you check out all the deals!
As the day progresses the pinball much like the yard sale prices will get cheaper.

That would be a good money maker... and I do have a few pins set up in the garage.
Unfortunately, our area is terrible for yard-sales so we're moving everything over to my in-laws near High Park.
That area is awesome. All the kids get together and we do one almost every year and have never left with less than $1000... sometimes closer to $2000!
That'll pay for a few rubber rings!

Nothing crazy (no pin stuff for sure)
Mostly kids' stuff, toys, clothes, jewellery, furniture, books, CDs/DVDs etc.... the usual

Pulled a handful of blown bulbs from AC/DC... Need to find time to make my way over to SB for new ones.

Also reaaranging my office furniture, will have room for 3 pins easy, 4 as a squeeze.

Time to start saving again *wife rolls eyes*

Forgot, I also swapped out my burned AC/DC bulbs.

Put 906's in place of the 161 bulbs behind the lightning bolts. (A little large for the right bolt, but good enough.

Also, changed out the 3 89 bulbs under the pop bumpers from incandescent to a red/white/blue led set. SO BRIGHT! It lights up the backglass and ceiling as you play. Wife is not too fond of it, but I almost like it. Makes a peripheral light show while concentrating in multi-ball.

I turned on Iron Man the other day.... that is all. :(

You're ahead of me.
Since the garage 'explosion' I have been at a standstill. No playing ir repairing anything for a couple of weeks now :(
Luckily I got the last of the pegboard up and re-installed my workbench last night. Tonight I will go through all my tools (currently lying on the floor) and finally start to organzie the garage/shop space once and for all!!!

So many projects waiting to get done. I need to step it up :FP:

I stopped by wacky wing in Brantford today. Played 3 games on x-men. It looks like the machine hasn't been cleaned since being installed there. Very dirty but everything worked.

I was in there yesterday and the pins are gross inside. They are playing noticeably worse now. Definitely in need of some love. I still play them but that's only because there isn't a whole lot else there. I don't want to make them sound like the worst possible condition but it sure is nice coming home and playing on clean pins.

I assume those games are owned/"maintained" by Starburst/Playdium.

They're going to get WAAAY worse. The games at Playdium by Square one are shameful for a company that puts their "BUY ME AT PLAYDIUM" stickers on their games. Half of the games have serious problems, but they still have them turned on to take kids money. The other half are barely above acceptable. WOZ has been turned off for the last month or two. When it was 'working', I'm pretty sure it still had one of the earliest version installed on it. (it still had no proper GI lighting) Among many other problems, Hulk's arm has been busted off on Avengers, and was floating around the playfield the last 3 times I was there. We told a 'technician' that Avengers was stealing kid-after-kid's credits, so we turned it off. I heard another kid trying to play it 2 minutes later. The fucking tech turned it back on again so it could steal more money!

Play them while they're still working at WW fellas. It won't last.
