Started installing LED kit in TZ from Pinballbulbs. Looks good so far with the inserts done. The kit comes with 6 spot lights and two led strips, one for the back and one for behind the apron. Also came with LED's for the backbox. Looks pretty nice. I also threw in a slow colour changer behind the gumball machine in the backbox. Looks pretty cool. Going to try to get most of it done tonight.

What about this mod behind the door?

Fair enough question Adam. Mike Wong asked me the same thing at the time I bought it.
Here is the answer. I wanted a dedicated machine. Below is why.

Very odd game, looks like something that would be very easily emulated on a MAME, why not just go that route?

I bought this Rygar in May of 2012. The deal finally closed in August of 2012.

My business partner, my brother and I all work together to this day.
In high school, we would rush to the local pool hall every lunch time to play Rygar.
The two of them would always beat me there due to our class schedule. Since it is
a two player game, I would end up playing the only pin in the joint, Space Shuttle.

When everything finally started clicking for me by August last year obtaining pins and vids,
I had both Rygar and Space Shuttle from David C. purchased.

They will both sit in our lunch room at work and will be a reminder of the running we did
at lunch time in high school when were kids.

I didn't pay retail, but I did pay more than $10. (and I've had mine for almost 4 years, and the CT kit is 2 strips of LED's)

That's an awesome story Scott.
So nice to know you've been able to reconnect with those games you had such a bond with!

I think I figured out a way to fit 2 more pins in the basement last night by moving the MAME over near the electrical panel. Then if I shift everything else a little bit, I have enough space to still get at the MAME, the breakers, and I can fit 2 more games in the space the MAME used to be. Probably won't actually move anything around until I get another game, but it's good to have a plan at least. I'll probably also get rid of the Coke machine at the same time. It works, but I have a full size fridge in there now, so no need for it.

A week or so ago I installed my new translight and speaker panel on my Shadow. Looks *awesome*.

Earlier this week I repaired a WMS display module from a Police Force.

Today I ordered a new back glass for my Space Shuttle (Thank you CPR!!!!) Merry Christmas to me!

And I repaired a SYS9 power supply, the HV section was dead and I replaced all the caps.

I also installed my glare guards on Shadow, Theater of Magic and Revenge from Mars.

I'm going to have a few down days at home during the holidays, so I will hopefully be doing some more repairs and work on my own stuff.

Last night I tackled my Balrog.

38 minutes from start to finish. I got it disconnected and out of the machine, and carefully and rather methodically took it apart. I made sure to place each piece in a line the same order I took it off. It's one complicated littletoy, I must say.

It has to come completely apart in order to get the flasher socket out of the monster. A long, drawn out process.

I was more than a little nervous putting it back together, but to my pleasant surprise did it all right and got it back in working perfectly, on the first reassembly try.

Yes, 38 minutes to change a lightbulb is a bit much, but it's worth it to have that beast lit up again.

Unfortunately, I just used another standard 89. My flasher led from cointaker hasn't arrived yet. Next time!

A whole lot was accomplished this week. Too tired to elaborate further.

Most important is that my Indiana Jones came home again today to stay.
My 9 year old is elated.

That will do for now.

Coincidence? Played IJ for the first time last night. Fell in love. Felt like a 9-year-old stepping up to it for the first time. Even though a widebody, shots are tight, and satisfying when hit. I think I need a MRitchie game in my collection...

I let IJ go away for quite a while. I love the game. Shots are tight, satisfying.
I can understand also why it is frustrating. If you can't hit your shots, this
game can be unrewarding.

My son put up over 100 million on his first game with it back home. He hit
his shots, achieved multiball, and loved pinball again. Very happy boy again.

Oh, and me too.

MRitchie games like Fishtales and Diner are also good choices if you like the designer.

IJ is awesome fun...Johnny came by last night and we had a blast playing that and others. I love the look, music, theme and gameplay. Like Tron, it is a total package game.

After playing at Drano's the other night, and bringing home a new pin a day earlier, I broke down and set up the new addition...as a matter of "play testing". I have resisted setting anything up because of the post-Christmas basement reno...all my pins are still wrapped and covered from the move at the end of October...didn't think opening them up for three months made sense just to break them down again. Like a junkie, I needed a fix...I'm glad I succumbed to temptation. Now I must resist tearing the rest of them open!

Had my post on Stern's Facebook page deleted earlier this morning. Merry Christmas to the iron fisted social media dictator working thru the holidays to socially cleanse Stern's FB posts. It wasn't even that bad. No swears. In response to their "What did you get for Christmas?" post, my response was something like: "I got a CFTBL for Xmas...it's no STLE or MET-Pro, but is DID come with complete code. Maybe next year."

Always heard that criticisms were swept under the rug, but it's the first time the delete button hit me. Keep up the good work, Uncle Gary.

Well done on the blacklisting Rob ;)
Some guy on pinside pulled a similar stunt. Stern lives up to their name!

So.... when is IJ getting added to the list? :D
