Hi all-
Some of the good people behind the Toronto Pinball League, City Pinball, and the High Park Pinball League have come together to bring you Toronto Pinball Fever!
To celebrate, we are having a launch party THIS FRIDAY, March 4, at 7 p.m at Cabin Fever - 1669 Bloor St. West, Toronto, ON (you can still enter your scores starting March 1)
This is Toronto’s version of the "Super Leagues" in New York and Chicago.
Here's how it works:
How to enter: show up at Cabin Fever anytime during its normal business hours (4 pm-midnight Monday-Thursday, 2 pm-midnight Friday-Sunday) and register at the bar.
Fees: League fees are $5/season. The pinball machines are on regular coin-drop.
Season Length: Each season begins on the first day of the month and ends on the last day of the month.
Season Format: Play the five machines at Cabin Fever. Once you have completed a game on a machine, and, if you are happy with your score, take a picture of your score with or without yourself in the photo and enter one of the following ways:
1.Post the picture to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #topinballfever (btw we are on instagram at @torontopinball)
2.Send an email to to.pinball.fever@gmail.com along with your name. We will enter your score.
3. Take a picture of your score with an analog camera, develop the film, and send the picture by carrier pigeon to Cabin Fever.
Standings may be viewed on the matchplay.events website and a link to the standings will be provided once the Toronto Pinball Fever begins.
You may play as many games as you want, and enter as many scores as you want, during a season.
Players will be awarded points based on the how their scores rank against other players.
At the end of each season, the top 20 players will advance to the playoffs.
League Admins: Any questions/ issues/ concerns should be directed to league admins at to.pinball.fever@gmail.com. The league admins are: Robyn Harrison, Adam Becker, Dan Beeson, and Jack Tadman.
