Does anyone or has anyone traded a pin from someone across the border?

No money exchanged; equal value etc.

I know its easier if they bring it north. Whats the best way to minimize all the taxes?

Any insight would be helpful

You can't bring it back across the border without paying tax. If they are willing to bring their game over, likely the best way. But they may get stuck paying tax. Not sure if Americans pay tax at the Cdn border?

I would be interested to know how this works as well... I’m looking at a game in upstate New York... do you need to pay 13% on the invoiced price at the border?

Equal value because you're trading a game based on the equivalent to the exchange rate? I haven't heard of a 'on par' trade, so I'm curious to know, tks!

Pretty sure a set value has to be determined at border for HST. Regardless of a trade or purchase.

Don't try bringing your pin across to US...only way is for the American to bring it across ...pay the taxes and meet them.

Not easy to come out ahead thanks to our lousy dollar.

And yes border is closed for who knows how long.
