TZ gumball enter opto not working

Hi everyone.

On test it says that the opto is "open", and other optos (magnet optos) say that they're closed on test.
Could that mean that the opto wiring is broken somewhere?
I unplugged the opto connectors from the opto board and all optos are opened on test when doing this, so either there's a broken wire somewhere or a bad connector.
Can Anyone guide me in this search?
Not a big problem but a hard one for me .

There are two wires to the emitter and two wires to the receiver. There could be a break in any of these four wires which would cause this issue but it could also be a failed emitter or receiver. If you have access to the emitter, you can always look at it through a digital camera to see if it's working (this is a UV LED). If you see the glow through the camera display then you know it's fine and it's something on the receiver side, at which point you can ring out the wires and if they are good replace the receiver.

The emitter is always the white plastic surround and the black plastic surround is always the receiver.
