Not sure if this is the right forum for this or not but I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to buy an ultrasonic cleaner?

Ideally I would like one that is large enough to put a whole Bakelite stepper board in from one of my EMs.

I got the "El Cheapo" unit from Harbor Freight in the US...but it would be too small for an entire stepper unless completely disassembled.

No complaints with the HF unit though. A year and a half and it's still going strong.

It seems you can get a unit with a nice large tub for about $250USD on eBay or Amazon, if you have somewhere across the border to ship it to.

Probably better to buy from this guy as he is in Canada so you don't have to deal with the shitty exchange rate or any additional brokerage, handling and rape fees from UPS.

I have a 10L Ultrasonic and I do cleaning services for people. Typically I do carburetors, but I've been using mine to clean pin parts too now when I shop my pins. Works great. I can run whatever you want in a fresh cleaning solution for a small cost. Just trying to pay back the cost of the cleaner slowly.

What cleaner do you use? My Dad had a MASSIVE USC in his shop when I was a kid, larger than a deep chest freezer... The stuff he used to run in it was NASTY business.

Super secret clean.. lol
It's non toxic. I have two kinds I run, one I bought from Marco's its this powder dust stuff, doesn't have an official name, but I also have another stronger non toxic cleaner that I use on all my carbs and auto parts etc, I just can't recall it's name right now, but I have the bottle at home. Both arent nasty at all and can put your hands into it without worry.
