FS Used Williams DMD (slow to boot)

Had my Getaway for almost a year now. DMD works great except it can take up to 10 seconds to boot up sometimes. Then it boots up right away if powered off and back on. See video (although it booted up almost right away when taking the video of course).

Cost is $125

The reason it's slow to boot on first power up is it's outgassing.

Really? I have been using it for a year with no issues. How long does it take to outgas?

In any case, any buyer that is concerned that the DMD will die, I will warranty the display for a year. If it dies in the year I will refund the purchase price.

Any DMD that is slow to boot up or "warm up" is a sign of outgassing. Where this display has been in use since 1992, it's not surprising that its outgassing. There is no exact time frame as to when a display will outgass, it's all dependent on the environmental factors it has seen over it's lifetime.
