Thanks to mR_CaESaR, i was also successful buying a chewlix from that seller.
i didnt get that nice wooden packaging like you both but the cab made it in great condition despite a few tiny scratches here and there.

Congrats and cab color combination looks great! What system you going to run inside it?

Thanks! I chose the rpi for the system. Since I already have a pandoras box. I will definitely put my ps4 in there and also wire up a jamma harness for my pandoras box 4.
I also chose the white and blue so I can wrap some of of the blue trim with light blue and the cp with chrome. To replicate the vewlix diamond.

Thought I'd give an update to my vewlix..

I've added an led strip and I changed that horrible blue led to white on the marquee.



The other thing to do on my list was to change the black bit on the side to that satin chrome like the original vewlix C... Enter a 10 dollar piece of satin chrome vinyl..

Got to work with installing the vinyl and voila.. She's starting to look the part.

An hour or so later... I installed them back on the cab and I must say, I'm very happy with how it turned out and how it looks!

Bottom piece with the screw changed to stainless steel

Next to the other chewlix with one cab still needing the mod

And finally the angle with a the taito logo.. (cab needs a clean)

It's amazing how a little change like that makes the biggest difference.

I finally got my artwork for SFV:AE!

First I got the sucker laminated so they last!

Then I added the last piece of vinyl to the marquee holder..

Went OTT on the magnetic strips

So glad I changed the LED from blue to white..

Installed the artwork...

Turned the lights off and turned on a smart globe so I think I'm @ an arcade in Akihabara
