Went to pick up lunch yesterday and noticed an LED store on Denison so I pulled in to check it out because I am looking for a 1-2m RGB LED strip for the bottom of my pinmame cab so I can have it illuminate the bottom of the cab different colors depending on the game selected. They had them but it was too much money and I found them on ebay for 1/3 of the price. Anyways, before I left I checked to see what other products they had and came across these 12V 3 colored LED boards for $0.50/each. I picked up $4.00 worth in various colours and last night installed a pair in my White Water.

I am pulling power off J116 which is unused coin door power source for a bill validator I believe or read on another forum. For those who never did this here is the pinouts for J116

Quick test with some gator clips and we have light!

I used some double sided foam tape and extended the wires from the LED boards to reach up into the head and tapped into J116 and here is the final result for less than $2 bucks :D

I also have a few other cheap mods as the bear and eagle from Michaels

Not bad for $10 bucks worth of parts and 20 minutes of your time. Any questions feel free to ask.

What is the name of the store on Denison? I was looking from something simple to try for first "home-made" mod and this seems like even I could to do it.

My old office use to be right at the corner of Esna Park and Denison so from there if you go east on Denison it will be the second building on your right hand side. You can't miss it as the store front has all sorts of LED products lit up on the window.
