What's compatable with this...

Looking to replace this chip to get my Nascar garage working 100%.
I felt I would inquire to see if people are using this component stock or going to something more robust.

In most cases is best just to replace with exactly what was in there unless there is a common known issue. You can still buy that chip so I would do a swap with the same part. That being said it is listed as obsolete on digikey and they have it's direct replacement listed as: https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/texas-instruments/CD74HCT273E/296-2110-5-ND/38480
