What's the deal with UK settings on my sterns

From the portals menu it gives the impression UK models have drain plugs and other options.
Just wondering where that would fit. Maybe they are a bit smaller than the one I had on bally Atlantis....
Maybe its a drain plug over the auto launch play again timer.....

In the UK Rolling Stones, if I remember correctly, has an outlane plug and between the flippers as well. I think they have an extra button next to the flipper buttons for the outlane saves. So there is at least one pin that has extras on the UK version.

So an outlane blocker like T2 and drain plugs.
I would think the modders out there would want the extras.
Depending on what sort of work it may entail.
I remember I had a retired UK tech looked at my Wizard! Way back when and he was shocked with how clean it was inside.
I guess the higher voltage attracts more dirt/debris.

For those interested, here's an auction for a NOS Stern Rolling Stones playfield made for the European market with a hole drilled for the "ball save" pop-up post (officially called a "Play-More Post" by Bally). I assume it acts just like the ones used in Bally Atlantis, Gordie Howe's Power Play and the Six Million Dollar Man (among other games).

Looks like that playfield has holes drilled for outlane plugs, too, as suggested by Slam_Tilt above.

I think when they did the LE of the Rolling Stones, it had the UK posts everywhere. At one point they had one on the floor at Starburst.

When I was at vfw (vintage flipper world) in Ann arbour they had alot or reimport sterns like this as it's a law someplaces in the UK. I remember a lotr with the 3 extra posts for sure. I looks really shitty and makes the game way to easy.
