RG is great bang for buck. It's ugly as sin, but that just contributes to how awesome it is! The music is some of sys11's best as well.

A friend of mine talked me into selling mine (to Spiroagnew - which was one of his firsts pins). I immediately missed it, and now I pine for it again - but alas I probably wouldn't see one in that price range again.

The one thing about the game is that it is a TERRIFIC Two Player game (mostly because you can "steal" the multiball). AS a single player game, it lacks some lustre. It is also finicky mechanically and needs to be tuned up every once in a while which puts some people off because it's as frustrating as hell if it's not doing the "Don't Flip! Flip!" routine.

If anyone wants to help me regain my lost RG, feel free to Message me. ;-)

I have a Rollergames. I dig it. It is in the workshop right now and I'm getting ready for a tear down, full cleaning and LEDing.

I'm just wondering if there was a reason why it has gained popularity in the last few months. I guess people are just starting to realize once you get beyond the theme, it's fun to play.

Actually this happens with most titles, their popularity ebbs and flows, sometimes arbitrarily, sometimes due to availability, sometimes due to a theme's appeal to a certain generation, and most often because someone posted a want ad, or someone just bought one and someone else wants one too.

I had almost bought that Rollergames that Sherpa sold - I recently acquired Brocks, and it lasted about 3 months before I was ready to move it out.

Fun, but not a long term keeper. For me at least - High Speed and Whirlwind are my Sys 11 survivors.

I pumped up the game pretty good when I guested on the Pinball Podcast last month:

I love the game. It's basically High Speed with a magnet and no Python Anghelo burn victims on the backglass. No joke, it's a direct copy of High Speed. Different goals, but layout is nearly exact...shows how polarizing HS was. Regardless, I think it's one of my keepers. Fast and fun. Great art and music.
