Selling my 1987 Williams Space Station.

As fortune would have it, I recently concluded a multi-game purchase and acquired a CQ copy of the same game in the deal.
It's an awesome system 11 with some cool sounds and gameplay features. The 2nd set of green GI lighting for 'condition green' multiball is super còol. Great voice callouts by Steve Ritchie himself (although this is a Barry Oursler design). The objective of docking shuttles may seem simple, but the lack of inlanes and vicious slingshots really make it a challenging and fun game.
Just 3800 units made, vs. 7000 of Space Shuttle. The two make an awesome space themed pair of solid state pins.

This example has a pretty nice cabinet, although there is a bit of damage on the rear left side of the head. It's a fairly easy repair and touch-up job.
The playfield is okay, but the mylar is damaged in a few spots and a couple of inserts are raised.
Current known issues are one bad pop bumper and the station motor sometimes spins the wrong way.

After falling in love with this game I quickly decided I would make it really nice. I scored a fully populated playfield in the Detroit area with the help of some of our members. The spare playfield is super nice and looks like it should be pretty much plug'n'play. It's complete with perfect plastics, new station divertor and motor assembly and even a much nicer upper playfield. Now that I found another example I have to let go of this one. The original game came with LEDs (a must for this game).

My costs on the various parts are:

-Base Game $1500
-Spare populated playfeild $500
-Repro blue ramp $200

With a little work someone could turn this into a super nice example and end up with a ton of rare parts to sell off.
Oh... and I was also one of the early buyers of the repro ramps from Freeplay40 on Pinside. I bought the translucent blue one. Looks awesome and is reinforced.

Shoot me a PM if interested.

Here's a couple of shots of the spare playfield:

Drano and I travel to Ottawa this Friday and Montreal for Friday/Saturday.
I would not hesitate to buy this machine. And, Drano has delivery options.
