Windsor to London

Hey guys, any recommendations of establishments that have pinball machines between Windsor and London? Looking for a good place to try out some machines. I know its kind of early, but would love to know if any establishment has TMNT. Really looking forward to playing that game, but also looking to see what Windsor to London has to offer in regards to pins for public.

Not that the list is exhaustive but doesn't look like any TMNT in southern Ontario. Marineland, a university in Moncton and a bar in Halifax list TMNT but some of those are likely the one from the 90's.

London doesn't have a whole lot for pins in one place. Speed City is probably your best bet. London is big enough with universities and colleges, I'm surprised no one has jumped in and made a full on barcade yet. Maybe the Rec Room has the market flooded for that thing even though they don't really do pinball?

I heard London downtown there is a bar with 2-3 new sterns. (Call the Office?)
Maybe some of the London people can chime in.
You may want to add where to play to the thread title.

Huh... Last I had heard Call the Office was closing down. Looking at their FB page, they managed to turn things around. Maybe we'll give them a go once the beer bug passes.

One of my local pin buddies told me about it.
Says they seem to always have a few newer Sterns in an area.

I asked Mike D to chime in on this thread.

Yes the pins are gone at Call the Office. Mike T and Ray operated them.

Mike moved his pins to his Speed City Records store open for play but I just heard that he is taking those pins home now and making more space for records.

I'll get a complete list from Ray on what/where he has pins and post it. Holy Diver, The Richmond, Poachers Arms I think are the only 3 locations now. Used to have something at Dawg House but not anymore I don't think.

I don't know anyone who has TMNT yet in London. Dnaman might be a prime suspect though. Nick G in Kitchener has one on order from P1 but has been waiting for months as I believe they are making the LE's first.

There are no locations that I'm aware of between London and Windsor. Windsor has/had a number of locations downtown, but that was two years ago since I was last there and no one else has provided any updates since.

The handy-dandy Canadian Public Pinball Tracker linked above is maintained regularly and has as up-to-date information as is provided by the general public

Are there still games at the London Brewing Co-Op? Palasad Social Bowl?

Wait... So the bowling alley here in St Thomas has more pins than most of the venues in London?

Someone needs to get the entrepreneurial spirit and get a barcade up and running. We used to go to one when we lived in Edmonton. I get sick when I drink alcohol so it was pretty much the only bar I enjoyed going to since it had live music and pins/arcades.

That or someone should see if a place like Dreamland or the Factory would partner up with someone routing pins.

I look forward to seeing you when the London league starts back up.
There are some great collections.
Sign me up for Pin Rev time slot.
I can finally make a commitment. Straight dayshift and no more straight afternoons by months end.

Mark Dans speaks quite highly of league nights. He and I used to go to the Starburst live auctions back in the day.

Nice! I was just talking with Luch about leagues starting up. We think it could be a year before IFPA opens up again sadly. Hopefully we will get back up and running strong eventually though.

Very cool. He and his son Matt were pretty regular. I never got in on the Starburst auction action! There was one during the 2007 Canadian Pinball Championships (my 1st ever tournament) but I missed it.

My buddy Ray made a lease offer at a place downtown London to start a barcade but it got rejected. Good thing though as covid hit shortly after. So he was trying but I think that flame has since gone out.

Bah! You don't need IFPA to have a local league
