Hello Doug, this thread has gone quiet, any chance these will be completed? I'm still hoping to purchase them. Thanks.

Thanks for the message, and I apologize for how long this is taking. I switched careers back in April and my new job has me travelling a lot, which has brought my productivity at home to almost zero. I did get all of the components in and I've been slowly finishing assembly but they aren't quite done yet. Once assembly is done I can start on cable harnesses and then testing. Appreciate everyones patience on this, I'll try and get these done by the end of September.

Well, the good news is I'm finished assembling all the pcb's. The bad news is I haven't been home long enough to test any of them or finish building the cables.

Just a quick update, haven't been on here in a while been so busy. I've got a number of the cable harnesses finished, hoping to have the lot complete by the end of the week. Once I've got everything done I'll be sending out PM's to the original buyers to co-ordinate shipping and payment.

Thanks for hanging in there people!

Does this harm the game some how when you turn it off? Or is it just a pop without any harm?

They pop does not harm the game and just hard to hear like nails on a chalk board.

I got mine this morning and love the new logo Doug.

I was up in Toronto for a few days and was able to personally meet @Menace. Really nice guy BTW. Anyways, I purchased two units and today had the chance to add them to my TZ and TAF. My TZ was the problem child. I had installed ezSBC 5V and 12V switching regulators on the power driver board and ever since it would make a horrendous noise when switched off. It literally sounded like a whoopee cushion passing gas, way worse and much louder than the normal popping sound. Loud, annoying, and it lasted for about 5 seconds. Non-pinball friends would ask what was wrong with the TZ? It wasn't damaging to the pin, just darn annoying.

Fast forward to today, no sound at switch off whatsoever, except for the click of the on/off switch. Both the TZ and TAF simply turn off, no farts or pops. Installation was a breeze. I'm thinking there's still enough clearance to remove the power driver if needed but if not you can simply unplug the De-Squelch-Inator.

If the shut-off pop noise bothers you then this is the solution. If you've installed ezSBC's regulators (https://www.ezsbc.com/index.php/psu5.html and https://www.ezsbc.com/index.php/psu3-12.html) then the De-Squelch-Inator is a must have.
