This is funny how JPOP makes everyone sign an NDA meanwhile he doesn't close his blinds and someone can just walk up and take all these pics:

It looks like some progress is being made and wcbrandes posted this on pinside yesterday:

"Please don't hang me as this pic is some time ago. Ramps are getting done as we speak and will have them installed ready to go before NW show. They kept their factory open over the memorial day weekend as a favor to me and are almost there. All other parts that needs to get done are getting done now and should be ready baring any screw ups. Just thought would share with all, as I think its a beautiful game and really I don't have a friggin clue why it needed to be a secret or under wraps."

"The factory working through a sunday night and into monday getting ramps ready. Pulled in a huge favor here. A good man that can out himself if he wishes. You know who you are....Thank you!"

"We are doing our best to get this flipping in just another week or so, leaving time to drive it all the way out to the west coast and make the NW meeting. The children's eye Impailers (aka leg bolts) will not be on the final production game. Just like Godzilla will not be on RAZA..... or any other character that even invites IP discussions."

"Zombie Yeti will be riding along with it as well and painting over the Zidware marks on the side of the cabinet. He should have it all blended in by the time he gets there

One of the vendors pin-pimp has spoken up and had this to say:

"Ok here is goes, I've been keeping quiet to avoid conflict but now I will admit it that I am the guy that built the ramp tooling. J pop did not pay me with your deposit money. It was a coordinated effort between many party's and after WC and crew came into the picture we moved forward real fast.

The deal is this, I own a machine tooling company, build plastic injection mold tooling and have a very high tech shop and skilled work force. I knew or became to know many of the people involved in the project and had offered my services. After spending many days with the Pintasia crew I really feel this project has turned and looks like there is starting to be more positive vibe. As things progress i hope more details can be revealed as far as the game progress and build. There are a few more molds we will be building for the project as we move forward.

Don't crucify me, I'm here to help and will reveal what I'm doing to help out. I feel too much secrecy
Raises too many questions. I just needed to wait for the dust to settle a little before stepping forward.
I molded parts last night at 1 am and today cast the trim fixtures for the CNC to cut the parts out of the vac material. I can tell you we got a very high finish on the ramp molds and the parts are extremely clear with no heat polishing needed. Real happy about that.
"

There has also support for this as Aaron from FAST Pinball posted this:

"Agreed. Bill, if you and your posse want to come out a couple days early, you guys can setup in my shop and tie up anything. It is just across the bridge from the venue. Any tools/resources needed to be sure the game is show ready would be on hand.

There is also a bar across the hall.

I guess we will see what happens in 2 weeks at the NW show and see if there will be a flipping MG prototype. It doesn't mean anything still as these games still need to be made for customers who have paid for MG. What about the others who originally signed up for RAZA or AIW that don't want a MG?

So how are those ramps even supposed to shoot? Are there magnets there to accelerate the ball up those slopes, or are the flippers so strong that they'll cannonball up there (probably breaking things in the process)? Just looks to be way taller than a standard game, so this could be an issue.

Still, I suppose we'll see in two weeks if the game flips. Could be a moot point if they can't get it working.

There's no visible reason why that wouldn't flip, may not have code but you could at least get a feel for the flow.

Looks like he was almost there, too bad he couldn't focus.

I'm a procrastinator with the best of them, but not with a million dollars of other people's money....I can't sleep when I'm behind on a couple of hundred dollars worth of orders.....:)

Sorry movingpictures I must have missed that one and the pinside thread is a bit hard to follow if you don't go back after 3-4 hours! Some people just like to hear themselves talk or sit there all day to collect karma points to help boost their ego.

Interesting post from the user applejuice who was doing some work for JPOP:

I have asked myself the same questions many times. I wasn't just working on MG either, i worked on multiple projects inc. RAZA and others at the same time. The ramps were late to the party, as I did not get the hand made ones until march 2014, but i had the prototype which was flipping from about may 2013. See below of when i first got it and was installing to my stern cab!

I often had to write code based on 'best guess' for mechs, then wait for the real parts to be created and then amend as necessary. Not the best way to go about things...

This comment posted by applejuice a few days broke my heart and what a douche JPOP really is:

I hope all my other projects on pinside go someway to explain that i am a decent person and tried my best to help these projects succeed. Indeed, the journey almost brought me to my knees, as i relied on being payed in a timely manner, but wanted to keep the projects moving forward. I had to sell around 7 pinball games from my personal collection that i built up over 25 years to keep myself afloat. I was lucky i had them.

John actually sent me an email once telling me to stop sending invoice reminders as it was "annoying him" ...

applejuice he did write code for a lot of things before he exited the project from not being paid. Hopefully we will get to see a video of all this in a few weeks at the NW show.

For the current setup on mg (when i exited the project) there was plenty of code written, for things like:

• base game play
• ball save
• bonus
• skillshot
• jets
• upper lanes
• up post
• magic letters
• lion saw
• newton ball
• owl target
• potion letters
• magic shop/scoop
• loops
• center spinner
• center lock
• centre targets
• spiral ramp
• wand ramps
• lock
• multiball
• jackpots
• quick multiball
• telsa subway
• mini magnet playfield
• jinx motor
• attract
• service mode with tests, audits, settings, coin door open

All the above had sounds, animation, graphics and rules.

That actually looks like the software was further along than I expected. I'm assuming that everything was written from scratch though, including the OS, which would take a LONG time...
