FOUND HUO IMDN Pro or Premium

I'm located in Ottawa but will travel for the right machine! PM me if you can't stand awesome dual guitars by Dave and Adrian, Steve's galloping baselines, Nicko's drumming, and Bruce's wailing.

WTB Jurassic Park Pro (Ottawa area)

I had a machine from P1AG delivered to my driveway from Toronto to Ottawa. Guess the shipping cost is about equal to the difference in tax between Ontario & Quebec for a NIB machine.

WTB Jurassic Park Pro (Ottawa area)

Stern lists MSRP at $6099 so that’s pretty decent!

As far as I can tell we’re paying MSRP, unlike our friends to the south.

    Playfield Clear-coating/finishing?

You can do it yourself with SprayMax 2K.

    Price of NIB pins

Given the price of a NIB pin...probably nothing! Going full bore on a major EM restoration right now so that'll keep me busy. If I were to go NIB it'd be Iron Maiden Pro or Premium.

    Price of NIB pins

Seems like our friends down south generally get something off MSRP or free shipping. Never having bought NIB before -- what's the deal in Canada? Any difference between Nitro and P1AG in this regard?

    TIP Upcoming P1 Auction

Fun to watch, but I think prices + fees historically have been too high.

Common ground wire soldered to lights?

Yes I resoldered although gravity doesn't help when you have the playfield vertical. My skillshot works, I have never had a close look.

Common ground wire soldered to lights?

I do have a D&D as well and found a few of the under playfield sockets had their solder joint to the common wire broken when the previous owner replaced with LEDs. So yes, you may have to gently bend the socket to get the bulb in & out but be careful not to break the solder joint.

    Cheap vacuum form solution coming?

Not as cheap as your oven and shop vac! Seems kind of small too, no good for forming ramps.

How to Load and Unload a Machine

I strongly recommend buying a stair-climbing appliance dolly like this: https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.appliance-dolly-800-lb-capacity.1000103861.html Even a weakling programmer like me can move a 250lb machine by myself with it (downstairs at least).

    Ultrasonic Cleaner (USC)

I would be wary of the "Metal Rescue" from Canadian Tire. It may leave a black residue that is hard to get off. Evaporust on the other hand works great!

    ColorDMD's next game is... Monopoly

This was done by a community member, no doubt because he owns the game and wanted to for fun. With this approach, any game on a supported platform can be colourized by someone with the interest and talent to doing so. This is a great approach by ColorDMD to expand the appeal of their product...

Best Dolly to Buy for moving pins?

I have one with the stair climber feature like the first ones shown. Then you can smoothly lower it down stairs with no jolts. I can move pins myself with it ( well move them in anyways, none have left so far!) Having a piece of plywood as a ramp to get over thresholds is handy especially if...
