Announcing new product to help resolve resets in WPC games

Re: Announcing new product to help resolve resets in WPC gam PinWiki talks about the old 'BR2 C5' solution to WPC resets and goes through a pretty comprehensive list of things to check *before* you resort to this. Have a read from section 4.8 on...

    Spiroagnew's basement thread

Well, I guess it's done already. Still, something to consider for you or the next guy.

    Spiroagnew's basement thread

A suggestion, if I may, and if it's not too late... don't box your poles in with framing and drywall. You will lose even more precious space. In my basement I had the i-beam support poles wrapped in carpet. When the floor carpeting was installed the installers glued carpet lengths directly to...

Pinball Life: New Super Band Products

My first instinct was to not convert my games at home. However, these new rubbers are finding their way onto a number of TOPL hosts' machines, so I've had some game time with them. As someone whose pinball game consists of a lot of control near the flippers, this new rubber has changed things...

EM Pinball Machine - What is your favourite?

Getting a 'Special When Lit' in all types of pinball games for me has truly lost it's appeal since I started playing pinball at home on freeplay. It is the single reason I moved out my (very fast and beautifully restored) Target Alpha as quickly as I did. The targets won't reset within a single...

    New Tron Bumper Caps

I consider myself a player who also likes a decent looking collection of pins, not perfect but nice looking. Mods on pins are kind of like tinting the windows on your car, or better yet, bothering to wash it every now and then. Doesn't make your car go faster, but makes you feel better when you...

Congo - erratic post beside left ramp (pwned!)

Yup that's exactly it. It's a two way switch and the bend has to work for all three purposes: left orbit shots going north (at full speed!) and south, and when the ball is resting against the post. Substantially flattening the switch arm above the PF is what I found I had to do. The typical...

Congo - erratic post beside left ramp (pwned!)

It's been a while since I had time to revisit this issue but I'm happy to say I solved it. The initial fix to realign the switch inside the slot opening corrected the non working AMY mode, it may have been binding. But then I starting experiencing premature ball release whenever earning GRAY...
