No idea, but I'm sure the tech doc's would be VERY difficult if not impossible to find given it was at some point an official gambling device. From what I've heard in the past, most decommissioned slots have to be returned to the MFG for destruction to keep things from getting out to the...
Holy hell that's one expensive PF... Over $1200 CDN without any duty/taxes.
What I don't understand is why go through the trouble to get the license for the PF and cab art and not run the plastics as well???? The original plastics are ALWAYS trashed.

Yep, I've been in the same scenario many times. Run out of the switch with the arm installed while out at a clients but have some without in my kit... pisses me off.

I don't believe Fish Tales used any lamp fading effects, so as long as he has the non-ghosting game ROM he should be OK. Ultimately the OCD boards would still help them operate more like incandescent which is great, but it gets even more expensive.

Op Max for all the GI.
Inserts I usually use frosted. For any sockets that are a right angle or parallel to the PF, I get the flex head versions but you can't get those in frosted.
As for type, I think I've gone with the 2SMD versions from Comet with good results.
Other people on here have way...
For any game that has fading controlled lamps, the OCD boards are a must have if you plan to convert to LED. Otherwise you end up with a LOT of flickering and it makes the game very difficult to play. You might also want to look into their GI OCD board as well. (I think they offer this one...
The best one I know down your way is Corey Cooke out of London, but I'm not sure he's traveling that far out anymore. When you're ready send me a PM and I can put you in touch.

Awwww shucks. Thanks guys! But we all know where the seller is based out of London, the only tech to fall out of a tree down that way is none other than the Cooke. (who is definitely the 2nd best tech in Ontario!)

And do you care if you're into the game for more than 5K when you're finished? Because with the cost of the game, all the work you've already done plus the PF and other parts you'll buy during the swap that's not a far fetched number.
Then again, you'd have a pretty minty HS2 when you were...
I would say yes only if you plan to keep that game forever, or the average selling price on a Getaway jumps to 5K. From what I recall your PF isn't that bad, and that's a lot of scratch. My guess is where it's coming from Germany you *could* get hit with 13% tax on the way in.
