I always liked BOP. It was years before I realised the two red flashers were meant to be nipples on her boobs. Years before I even noticed the boobs. Just a fun playing game.
I have to disagree with you on the black. I always liked the purple. The black looks great, but purple will...
Anyone know of another Canadian shop that sells this paste wax? eShine is out of stock.
[EDIT] Amazon has it in stock.
What do you guys use for polish? Anyone ever try this one?
Mine was originally missing 3 of the 4 fins on the cup. It's been replaced, but I still have variance in how it fires. Having 3 fins missing probably caused the plunger to wear unevenly hence the odd eject every once and a while.
Mine will fire out and hit the right flipper and then bounce over to the left 90% of the time. That last 10% of the time it'll fire out faster, hit the right flipper and bounce over to the left sling. That 10% is tough to recover from, but I like the randomness of it.
I agree with Drano. My coil doesn't fire in the exact same manner every time, but it's at least pretty consistent. Have you replaced the coil sleeve? Check the ball popper cup too. Mine was missing a couple of the shark fins which causes the ball to go wild every so often when it shot onto...
This game will kick your ass as soon as you let your guard down. There are many times I'll walk away from the pin with an embarrassingly low score and other times I'll walk away with my name on the high score list. I would like to think I'm an average player. I can hit shots when I need to...
For the record, adding a $400 sheet of invisiglass does not increase the price of the pin by $400. Having broken ramps and broken flippers will definitely decrease the value, but a used set of good condition ramps is just as good as a brand new set of ramps in my mind.
I have to agree. Everyone is afraid of the unknown. Even more so when someone asks you to fork $15K out without any history of the item. Hell, I could ask $15K for my 2011 Nissan X-Trail. It's not worth that, but I have all the service records from the pass 5 years to show maintenance...
Thank you for posting and trying to help!
I make it a point to always update my troubleshooting posts. You never know when someone else might have the same problem. If my post is open then it means I still investigating.
I received my new IC's from Digikey on Thursday. Saturday night I dedicated some time to fixing this. Based on the info from Pinball Rehab I decided that U1 was the most logical culprit. The problem was associated with J202, so it had to be U1 or U3 that was the problem. Since U3 was...
