Whats with all the recent Rollergames love?

I pumped up the game pretty good when I guested on the Pinball Podcast last month: http://www.thepinballpodcast.com/2015/09/22/episode-65-slice-soda-and-kick-butt-stuff/ I love the game. It's basically High Speed with a magnet and no Python Anghelo burn victims on the backglass. No joke...

#13 STTNG Tie Back Mod *BEST WAY*

I've done no online digging to find the answer to this, perhaps you know, Doug: What was Williams' reasoning for running twenty feet of wire to a vibration-prone coil to tap into the 50V in the first place? The whole thing reeks of sloppyness--more like an operator hack rather than a technique...

FS "Not Mine" Pinball Machines For Sale

Well said. I believe in pinball karma. I'll never attempt to pull the rug out from under someone who has struck a deal. If it means losing out, so be it. I was recently rewarded with a few sweetheart deals that fell into my lap...so the karma train keeps rolling along.

    Bob's Joker Poker Thread

In a total coincidence, I have the pleasure of working on two JPs concurrently. In the below photo, an unfinished original sits next to the repaint. Bob provided stencils from TwistedPins, but given their, um, less than stellar track record for quality, I opted to cut my own stencils for the...

The Daily News! All about the members.

Time to resurrect this thread. Spent some time on a rainy afternoon in the basement with my son fixing games. I've been spending a lot of time painting cabinets for others, that my own collection felt neglected. No board work or major issues, just little things that accumulate. Rollergames...

FS "Not Mine" Pinball Machines For Sale

That's the price is was when it was first for sale back in August! Thy market hath corrected itself? Again, be warned: lots of unique parts on this beast that are very hard to come by and are vital to game play. There are reasons why $400 examples of this game have sat unsold at Allentown the...

    Ultrasonic Cleaner (USC)

The USC is more versatile. Painted plastics and coated metal, stuff you wouldn't want to put in the tumbler lest it eat away at the finish, will get nice and clean, safely, in the USC. That said, the ultra shine you'll get on your posts and metal accents is stunning after 12 hours in the...

No, didn't come from the factory like that. I'm sure it left the factory looking aces. However, like anything, wear is going to start at the weakest point. Obviously, the tooling weakened the adherence of the paint and clear to the wood, so the wear started there...in a perfect circle.

FS "Not Mine" Pinball Machines For Sale

That "coffee cup" wear is common for nearly every Millionaire I've seen. Don't quote me, but I think they used some sort of tool to hold or stabilize the playfield while assembling it that prevented the clear coat and screening to adhere properly. Those ring stains are brutal--right over the...
