Very nice-looking forward to trying this out at the next TOPL night! Does the Captain's Chair actually do anything yet? Getting 3 in a row didn't seem to actually award anything before...
Re: Interest Check: Atari 800XL w/drives games
That is a throwback. Never owned an atari 800, but I had a lot of the same stuff on c64, including that same joystick. Good times.
Re: Sterns next pin is....
So I guess this kills the rumor that it'd be based on the comics? I'm a few volumes behind on those, and haven't watched the show, so no real interest in this from theme alone, but we'll see how the game looks. I think the only thing we can say for absolute certain...
That's good to know-thanks! I suppose the way that you'd really tell what's going on is to wire up a meter to the circuit and see what the actual current is going through the breaker at any given time. If something is fused at 5a, is it typically going to run at 3-4a, or will it be up around...
I've used a mini circuit breaker in the past soldered to a burnt out fuse in order to track down problems. This is a really valuable tool, except that I haven't always used the same amperage breaker as the fuse. Last time I went with a 4a breaker for a 5a fuse just because that's what I had...
Re: Cost for an operator to put a single machine on location
Really, they never asked me about that, and I mentioned it specifically the last time I renewed. Not even a special rider for them on the contents insurance, and no specific limit. I asked if it fell under "collectibles" and no, it...
How are the adjustments for the monger? Are there set screws to raise/lower the front/back, or are you adjusting cam/switch positions? I had some similar problems with the ringmaster on CV, but I think that was more because it had three different positions.
I have to wonder with something...
Congrats on the new games-TZ is a pain to move, but the good news is that you only have to do it once (cause once you have one, it'll probably never leave). Small price to pay for that awesome a game.
I miss the standard "FU' pics from Wong's pin moves-truly a horriffic basement to move games into. It's nice when you can factor pinball into your moves!
I actually picked one up for my 2 year old, but that's mostly because I wanted to be able to set something up for him to play that he didn't need a stool for, and that was easier to reach the buttons on. I actually took it off the stock legs and just have it on a box at the moment since it's...
So it looks like these are actually starting to ship out to people based on pinside, so spooky would be one of the first of the recent "boutique" manufacturers to actually ship a game. Say what you will about the quality of the game, but the fact that they have something that they can start...
