Now I understand... thank you. I cannot stand leds in my older Williams games (certain GIs and distant corners excluded). The symptoms were always plainly obvious to me while a certain few would say 'well, doesn't bother me', almost with a flippant attitude. When multiple LEDed inserts would...
Conceptually I think this idea is a simpler solution than a ramp. Smaller footprint and can be out of the way when not used. Your hoist can be electric or manual. A 1 ton would do it.

In Denmark these use these things to move couches and pianos into second storey buildings whose...
Yes, of course, I stand corrected.
In many ways I think I'd prefer those larger DMDs over a big honking screen like WOZ. Who has time to raise your sightline that far up. You've got to keep your eye on the ball.
Agreed, it's what I thought too. But it was fun to pull his leg a bit like Brock...
It's not what I did today but what I did all of last week and this past weekend leading right up to Monday evening. I hosted my first TOPL league night on Monday and spents tons of time getting my games up to spec and my gameroom spaced out to make room for players.
Literally was up to sunrise...
Favourite DMD? I gotta go with Tron, from a game play perspective. I'd give a nod to TZ here too. Tough to pick just one.
Favourite DMD game for use of DMD? Probably goes back to TAF. Playing it back in the 90s when it first came out I found the dots really suited the overall theme and mood...
Hey Mike,
Glad to see you guys are all home now. It must be super nice to be in the comfort of your own home after all that hospital time.
Enjoy your time off at home. These are the best of times, despite what you may think with the feeding and diaper routine. The babies change so much in the...
Re: TRON 1.74 is out! -- Fingers crossed for XM/TF Owners :
I'd consider a TF Pro if there was hope for the code.
Stern need to give more incentive for updates long after the fact, and not rely on the personal committment on the programmer.
Re: TRON 1.74 is out! -- Fingers crossed for XM/TF Owners :
With all the wanting for an extra ball in Tron, I have to admit, it is the one thing that has kept this game honest when compared to most.
You can be quite sure all Tron Pro high scores were accomplished with three balls. Not four...
I've been at it for 7 yrs. I remember on my first game a newer Stern, the flipper stopped working hours before a party... I called the service guy from where I bought the pin. I laugh at that now. Traded the Stern in a few months for a TZ and I just dove right in. Read literally every post on...
Curious... does this mean once the building is completed that your basement will be free of working pinball machines, or will your collection span both places?
Re: A couple new additions
Hi Mike,
Congratulations to Laura and you on the 'million dollar' delivery! Glad to see that nature took over and you had a natural birth, natural except for the myriad of support staff. That is unreal.
Sounds like it's all working out - babies are breathing on...
I went to SB today to have a second look thinking maybe the software was updated. Turns out the game was moved to Playdium the day before to test it out on location.
The guy I talked to doesn't even think the sw was updated, although I cannot confirm this.
