So, I'm at the point with my RG that I'm going to have to start trouble shooting a couple of boards. The CPU board I have has quite a few burn marks, as well as several questionable solder jobs. The AUX board has a couple of components that I see are missing. If I can find working boards for a...
Has anybody ordered from these guys?

Has anybody ordered a kit like that from somewhere?
I can get all those screw/nut sizes from work, but they're all with Allen/hex heads...
Re: You say you want a (Pinball) revolution - uh, not in Chi
Or you could use the Tor browser. When I opened mine just now, it thinks I'm in the US:
I've even 'been' in the middle of the ocean before. :P
After having very little time to work on RG during the past week, I finally have a day off I can spend putting it back together.
You can see the detail shots I took of the playfield before I started pulling it apart. I highly recommend doing this if you've never taken one apart before. Heck...

This is what came off of just one of the ramps.

I'd likely only try stuff like that on small things like wire gate brackets and stuff. For the big metal ramps, I will indeed come a callin' for your buffer. :)
Ah yes, I forgot to mention last night... I had decided not to take off the metal bits yet. I might save that for another time.
Thanks again for the offer, though. I may still bring something by in the near future. :)
Picked up some stuff for the playfield today...
[b]- LED's for GI, flashers and pop bumpers.
- Rubbers. (posts, rings, flippers etc)
- Star posts
I'll hopefully have the playfield back together by early in the week. Then the tough work begins!
So after some substantial Novusing I've got the playfield quite a bit cleaner than when I started. But I have quite a few spots (most not covered in Mylar) that have stubborn marks left. Is there a safe way to get rid of them? Or is the risk of ruining the paint too great to try scrubbing it away?
As silly as it sounds, two reasons I never watched the three TF movies...
Optimus was a new-school tractor. (not the cab-up-front truck like in the 80's)
Bumble bee wasn't a Volkswagen beetle.
it looks like this one has OP the way he should be... I just might watch this one!
