It's no rotisserie, but it'll let me work on the playfield a bit easier.

Thanks dude. I was thinking of making some sort of rotisserie thing myself, but maybe something more table-topish. But if that proves too difficult/expensive, I may take you up on that offer. :) I'll look over the link you posted again, to see if it sparks any ideas.

Thanks to Rob for sending me a few pics, I now realize there is supposed to be only wire in the J11 connector. I never would have guest that. Now, were to begin....

From what it looks like, the inserts are not connected to the MPU. This explains quite a lot. I think the inserts that are lit up were simply routed to a power source to make the playfield light up a bit. That might be why none of the lights respond to any actions. It looks this will be the...

Thia can't be right. The J3 connector only has one wire on it. And this piggybacked resistor is interesting as well... Rob, if you could, maybe you can take a few pics of the boards in your backbox for me? I think one decent pic per board would do the trick. **EDIT** Duh, I guess I can loosely...

Ah yes, the SANDERSON SUITE! That would make things easier. Until then, I have a sixer of Pabst and a freshly printed manual to dig into.

Wow. It is becoming quite apparent that this game is a bit of a disaster. It looks like a previous owner(s) hacked the shit out of it. These splices and jumpers are what concern me the most at the moment: Tracking this shit is gonna be a bitch. Well, I asked for a challenge. :FP:

I took off early today so, so I took a few pics of some of the more 'interesting' repairs that have been done on this machine by previous owners over the years:

Another few things I've noticed... 1) When the machine is turned on but has no game started, my flippers work when I press the buttons. I read something somewhere at some point in time, a guy had the same issue. Of course I can't remember when/where/who it was. But I don't think that's a real...

I am definitely going to take you up on that. It'll be good to play a few games on a machine that is 100%. It'll make it easier to spot the less-than-obvious problems with mine. If you order one before I do, grab me one too. I'll do the same. :) I've made a quick video of how the game plays so...

After looking it over a little better, I see that that seems to be the only damaged plastic. And just barely at that. (right on the ends) I just may take you up on that plastic bit, although I am in no rush for it. It is one of the last things on my list. From what I can tell, my diverters...
