Quadcopter video shot over Niagara Falls

I think that's the video made by one of the guys that's a customer of mine. We sell all that multi rotor stuff. There's some pretty cool stuff out there. We can't even keep it on the shelves. The shit storm caused by videos like that (and way more so the one below) is pretty crazy: around the 2...

    22awg wire good for 18v?

I've bought some LEDs and 22awg wire with the intent of doing a nifty mod to my Heli on R911. What I want to power them off of is 18v, with 6 or so LED's connected in series. It will only be powered up for 5 or 6 seconds every minute or two. Is this gauge OK for use in this situation, or should...

    Alternatives to Sayal

Rats! Talk about bad luck. I went to A1. I get there, there's a sign on the door that says they are closed for 3 weeks, doing inventory. A few weeks back I had free morning, so I thought I'd drop by Playdium Store for some parts. They too were closed that day for inventory. :FP: I should...

    Alternatives to Sayal

I like AA Electronics in Mississauga. (next door to Sayal) The employees there seem more interested in helping you. They usually come to me before I even need to ask for help. I've only been there 4 or 5 times, but they've never not had what I needed. http://www.aa-e.com/company.htm

    PinGolf objectives

Especially when it's for charity. Sheesh. I can't believe anyone would complain about people trying to help out sick kids.

    PinGolf objectives

This is how Adam's objective-based pingolf works... Basically, you ignore almost everything about a certain game, except one thing. Some examples; Indiana Jones (Stern) - start 8-ball multiball. X-Men - collect four X-Men. Dragon - knock down 5 Dragons. Radical - spell RADICAL Every game is set...

    PinGolf objectives

I agree. Objectives all the way. I find myself coming up with pingolf rules for my machine now. Makes it fun to shoot for one particular goal now and then.

    Tim's Rescue 911 thread

Thanks Doug. I probably wouldn't tackle a PCB repair. I'll try to track down the problem, then maybe let someone else handle it. :P As a side not, the socket for the bulb in question is putting out almost 20 volts. It's supposed to be closer to 12 volts, no?

    Tim's Rescue 911 thread

So I've dug a little deeper into my bulb problem... I traced the A9J15 wires, this is where they go: The double-brown wire goes to this pin a plug that goes into the main driver board. The double-yellow wire is traced through the bottom of the playfield, and into this: My guess is my...
