Rescue 911 - 697,677,400 Still not good enough to take back the number one spot on my own machine. Grrr.

I guess once the novelty of having my own machine wears off I may move on to other more expensive games. However seeing as this is a 'what would I rather' question, for now I stick to believing I would rather have 3 'B's than just one 'almost A'. :)

Personally, I am having a ton of fun with my B list (C list?) R911 machine. I will be very happy to get another game of similar value. To put it in simpler terms, I'd rather have three $1000 machines, than have one that was $3000.

Right? It's like Christmas! (only I don't hate it)

Thank you indeed! I still think there should be a DONATE button somewhere on the site. I like to donate $10 or $20 every once in a while to sites that I find useful. (and I definitely find this one to be very useful!) Maybe set up an EMT thingy users can drop a few bucks into now and then.

Re: WTB: Revenge from Mars Yup, all of the ones on the trailer still had the heads on. I don't know if the guys who bought them removed them to get them into their houses, but they were on when we took them out of the trailer.

Thanks! I figured I'd give the original hardware one last try before I ordered some new parts. I took out the TX and RX boards, removed then re-soldered in the LED's. Put it back together. Aaaand... It works again. Yay!

I think the rec. LED is bad. When I test the emitter with DIODE mode, I get a reading. When I test this one, it doesn't give me any reading at all. Is this an LED I can buy anywhere, or is it a specific part? (also, is that even the right way to test an LED?)

OK, so if I am correct; The emitter is the LED that I can see glowing when I look at it through my phone. (the LED itself has a little bit of colour to it when viewed by the naked eye) The receiver is a clear LED. The one will not show up when viewed through the camera. Is the emitter supposed...

Sorry I meant that the transmitter still works. (I can see it glowing with the phone trick) It still thinks there is a ball in between them. I think it's an alignment problem. I have a few hours before work to try and get it sorted out.
